Hate or Love Swarovski Crystal Beads I am a Jeweler; I work with crystal and sterling silver. I would like to know if you hate or love Swarovski crystal beads as jewelry and why?
i love them. i design jewelry as well. i love them because they come in such a wide variety of hues. and i especially love the modern array of cuts they are available in. i also think their effect is very dependent on the context, though.
they don’t always look great– it depends on the piece. they are powerful enough that i think they should be used sparingly, or used exclusively so as to not outshine other parts of the piece. do you know what i mean? good luck!
