how do u keep silver jewelry from turning black. is there anything? and once it is a little black…how do u get the shine back?i just bought a silver ring at tiffany’s i might go back to engrave it…but i wore it once and it turned a little black on one side…so i washed it in jewelry cleaner and it helped…but is there anything long lasting?

Isn’t it annoying? It happened to 4 of my Tiffany’s things – earrings, the heart necklace, the heart ring, and a flower necklace. I brought them all to the Tiffany’s store, and they can clean them for you. It lasts for a while, but don’t use jewelry cleaner on them too much – it’s not good for it. I don’t think there’s anything that lasts super long, but if you go to the Tiffany’s store they do a great job of cleaning it for you.
