Photograph Swarovski crystals

The light from Swarovski crystals is prismatic – it is almost like how a diamond seperates light into different colors. I have a Canon EOS, and have tried various manual settings, but can’t seem to find the right combo. I don’t know if I should be using a filter or a particular kind of lens or something. In regards to dark fabric – unfortunately, the crystals are already affixed to light colored fabric. But the dark fabric comments at least tells me why this isn’t working for me. I will have to get creative. After tried many times,i found the way.How do you photograph prismatic light? May be i will help you.
You need a bright white light source, like they have in jewelry stores. Or you could try it outside in bright sun. I would use a dark background, unless you want to see rainbows reflected onto surfaces, in which case I would use white. Then play with the placement of light until you see the reflections you like. I would not use a filter. Definitely a tripod if you’re using macro. (Even if you’re not.)
