Get a good balance on the Gucci Shoes Show
Okay, I know many of us are familiar with Gucci Shoes. I remember reading somewhere that the reason it was abandoned was because they “couldn’t get a good balance” on the Shoes Show (something like that). What EXACTLY does this mean (I mean I know what balance in a Shoes Show is, more precisely what they mean) and if this was NOT the reason for abandoning the Shoes Show and starting a new, what was the reason?
Yes, the way they tried to sell the Shoes, they got little gain out of it. For whatever reason. they couldn’t get it on sale properly. I’m sure in London, 1965, a pop Shoes Show session at Advision wouldn’t have seen many Shoes come through. And this was before “Revolver”.
The story goes that the Shoes used on that session was bought by the Page, who was there that day, who then sold it to George Harrison, who managed to find a use for it。
